ALCOHOL & DRUG COUNSELOR

New Avenues' nationally recognized career training program is currently seeking a Hospitality Industry Coordinator to coordinate an industry training and job placement project serving homeless and at-risk youth. Responsibilities include developing employer partners in the hotel industry, facilitating ongoing training sessions and serving as the employer's point of contact for retention support and crisis intervention. BA, leadership skills and experience working with high-risk youth required. Vocational/educational training and bilingual English/Spanish preferred. on-call youth counselor
Join New Avenues' innovative programs and services to homeless and at-risk youth as an On-Call Counselor in our drop-in center and/or transitional housing program. Engage youth through the Positive Youth Development model providing guidance, support and information in a multicultural environment for homeless youth. Starting wage is $10.50 per hour.
