This month the hard work and creative talents of the youth we serve were showcased as part of the Fertile Ground Arts Festival. Working with Playwrite, Inc., these talented young people wrote eight short plays and monologues and saw them brought to life in the Gerding Mezzanine Theater!
For the past six years, Playwrite, Inc. has partnered with New Avenues to lead intensive, 2-week workshops designed to empower youth through creative writing. The results are inspiring, funny and often moving plays written by our students and performed by professional actors.
